This versatile “green” class tug has just the right power and size to handle most jobs at the lowest operating costs.

The “HandySize” Class Tug was designed by Jensen Marine Consultants and is built by Great Lakes Shipyard to fill the niche between the 2800 to 3200 HP market for harbor work, fireboats, and construction operations as well as coastal towing. The hull and framing of the tugs are built for extra hull strength and increased durability over the years, whether or not employed in ice. Every tug is built to American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) standards.
