Great Lakes Shipyard launched United States Environmental Protection Agency R/V LAKE EXPLORER II on Monday, October 27, 2014 using the 770-ton capacity Marine Travelift after successfully completing the following repairs:
- Drydocking
- Routine Repairs & Maintenance
- Upgrades
- Design, Fabrication & Installation of a New Bulbous Bow
The vessel departed for its homeport of Duluth, MN on Tuesday, October 28, 2014.
