Great Lakes Ship­yard recent­ly com­plet­ed work on three (3) of four (4) ves­sels for the Unit­ed States Army Corps of Engi­neers (USACE) Buf­fa­lo District.

As of Mon­day, May 11, 2015, dry­dock­ing, main­te­nance and repairs for the 53-foot Tug DONLON and 120-foot Deck Barges BD-6259 and BC-6472 were completed.

The Ship­yard put the 109-foot Tug CHERAW back in the water on Tues­day, May 26, 2015 using the 770-ton Mobile Trav­elift. Final main­te­nance and repairs will be com­plet­ed dock­side over the next 3–4 weeks.
