EQUIPMENT

Recent­ly acquired mobile pro­duc­tion machin­ery and equip­ment includes but is not lim­it­ed to:

• Weld­ing Equip­ment – more avail­abil­i­ty and capa­bil­i­ty with new weld­ing machines, mul­ti­ple diesel welders, pow­er packs and suit­case wire feed­ers, all from Lin­coln Electric
• Doosan P425 Com­pres­sor dual pres­sure com­pres­sor – more flex­i­bil­i­ty on-site as well as imme­di­ate off-site avail­abil­i­ty with a portable com­pres­sor unit in addi­tion to the Shipyard’s on-site com­pres­sor units
• Man­i­tex 35100C 35-ton Boom­lift truck – even more lift­ing capac­i­ty for mate­ri­als both on-site and off-site, this road ready crane will join the exist­ing 80-ton capac­i­ty crane on-site
• Sky­jack SJ66T Tele­scop­ic man­lift – one of two new man­lifts being acquired to access crit­i­cal and hard to reach work areas on ves­sels; will also pro­vide a fast, safe and effi­cient point from which to blast, paint or weld
• Sky­jack SJ45T Tele­scop­ic man­lift – sec­ond of two new man­lift units, the dif­fer­ing sizes will pro­vide the flex­i­bil­i­ty of assign­ing the right ded­i­cat­ed equip­ment to the right job
• Skytrack8042 Tele­scop­ic mate­r­i­al han­dler 8,000 lbs. lift capac­i­ty – upgrad­ing the Shipyard’s abil­i­ty to move mate­ri­als and plac­ing in tight confines
• Terex AL5 Light tow­ers (2) – work­ing in the short­ened days of win­ter or emer­gency repairs as night, the addi­tion of the portable light tow­ers will be avail­able both on-site and off-site to meet cus­tomer needs
• Kalmar DCE-150–12 heavy duty 32,000 lbs. straight mast fork­lift truck – a heavy duty addi­tion to the fleet of mate­r­i­al han­dling equip­ment at the Ship­yard, mov­ing major com­po­nents such as z‑drives or com­plete engines is now all eas­i­ly accom­plished on-site
• Ford F‑550 Super­cab and Win­ston 12.5‑ton tan­dem trail­er – pro­vides GLS with com­plete mobi­liza­tion capa­bil­i­ties and in-house abil­i­ty for the trans­port of mate­ri­als and men
