Raised in Daytona Beach, Florida, Justin received his Associates in Science from Florida State College at Jacksonville. With a passion for traveling, after receiving his Associates, Justin decided to spend time in Costa Rica working as a tour guide before beginning his professional career.

Justin started his professional career in safety at Hageman Earth Cycle, a mine and organic waste company out of Fort Collins, Colorado. He spent four years with the company as their Yard Foreman and Safety Officer working with heavy equipment operations and moving conveyor belts.

In January 2019, Justin was hired as Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental Manager for The Great Lakes Towing Company and Great Lakes Shipyard.  Justin’s  professional background in safety management, work ethic, and collaborative personality fit the position well.

Some of Justin’s hobbies outside of work include snowboarding, fishing, surfing, and rock climbing.

He has been a great addition to the company so far!
