Overview

The Great Lakes Towing Company is seeking a Janitor for its machine shop division, Plotz Machine. The Janitor and Parts Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean facility by completing a variety of cleaning tasks and is responsible for cleaning parts and tools used in the daily operation of the machine shop.

Responsibilities

• Clean the interior building including floors, restrooms, and miscellaneous parts/tools
• Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones
• Maintain inventory of cleaning products
• Maintain outdoor grounds
• Remove debris and snow from sidewalks and parking lot
• Empty trash and recycling bins
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• No prior cleaning experience required
• Must have a good driving record

Minimum Work Environment Requirements

• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by the Company appropriate to job duties
• Repetitive bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching
• Exposure to loud noises
