Raised in Day­tona Beach, Flori­da, Justin received his Asso­ciates in Sci­ence from Flori­da State Col­lege at Jack­sonville. With a pas­sion for trav­el­ing, after receiv­ing his Asso­ciates, Justin decid­ed to spend time in Cos­ta Rica work­ing as a tour guide before begin­ning his pro­fes­sion­al career. 

Justin start­ed his pro­fes­sion­al career in safe­ty at Hage­man Earth Cycle, a mine and organ­ic waste com­pa­ny out of Fort Collins, Col­orado. He spent four years with the com­pa­ny as their Yard Fore­man and Safe­ty Offi­cer work­ing with heavy equip­ment oper­a­tions and mov­ing con­vey­or belts. 

In Jan­u­ary 2019, Justin was hired as Health, Safe­ty, Secu­ri­ty, and Envi­ron­men­tal Man­ag­er for The Great Lakes Tow­ing Com­pa­ny and Great Lakes Ship­yard.  Justin’s  pro­fes­sion­al back­ground in safe­ty man­age­ment, work eth­ic, and col­lab­o­ra­tive per­son­al­i­ty fit the posi­tion well.

Some of Justin’s hob­bies out­side of work include snow­board­ing, fish­ing, surf­ing, and rock climbing.

He has been a great addi­tion to the com­pa­ny so far!
