The Great Lakes Tow­ing Com­pa­ny and Great Lakes Ship­yard will be exhibitors and atten­dees at this year’s Great Lakes Water­ways Con­fer­ence. The con­fer­ence will be held Feb­ru­ary 12–13 in Cleve­land, Ohio.

The con­fer­ence aims at pro­mot­ing and sus­tain­ing a healthy and pros­per­ous Great Lakes mar­itime indus­try.  Lead­ers in the Great Lakes mar­itime indus­try are meet­ing to dis­cuss the indus­tries chal­lenges and oppor­tu­ni­ties.  All ele­ments of the mar­itime com­mu­ni­ty take part in ses­sions aimed specif­i­cal­ly at the Great Lakes region.  Some in atten­dance will be the Unit­ed States Coast Guard, the Cana­di­an Coast Guard, Trans­port Cana­da, the U.S. Army Corps of Engi­neers, the U.S. Depart­ment of Trans­porta­tion, the Nation­al Oceano­graph­ic and Atmos­pher­ic Admin­is­tra­tion and oth­er gov­ern­men­tal and com­mer­cial orga­ni­za­tions with a stake in the Great Lakes maritime.
