The Great Lakes Group Announces New Management Hires

The Great Lakes Group is pleased to announce recent new hires to the Company’s man­age­ment team:  Thomas Rigo­lo — Ship­yard Gen­er­al Man­ag­er; Kirsten Buc­ci­grossi — Direc­tor, Mar­ket­ing & Com­mu­ni­ca­tions; and Emery Eiber — Qual­i­ty, Health, Safe­ty, Secu­ri­ty, and Envi­ron­ment (QHSSE) Manager.

Tom Rigo­lo is a senior ship­build­ing exec­u­tive with 25+ years of expe­ri­ence in hands-on engi­neer­ing and high-lev­el lead­er­ship. He has a proven record of cre­at­ing effi­cien­cies, qual­i­ty improve­ments, and growth in some of the most suc­cess­ful ship­yards in the coun­try. Tom is a licensed Pro­fes­sion­al Engi­neer (P.E.) in Naval Archi­tec­ture and Marine Engi­neer­ing and has a Bach­e­lor of Sci­ence in Naval Archi­tec­ture from the Unit­ed States Naval Academy.

Kirsten Buc­ci­grossi has over 12 years of oper­a­tions, logis­tics, and mar­ket­ing expe­ri­ence in the mar­itime indus­try both afloat and ashore. She has a Bach­e­lor of Arts in Eng­lish from the Uni­ver­si­ty of  Akron and a 100-ton Mas­ters License. Her focus will be on build­ing upon the Company’s brand, pres­ence, and busi­ness devel­op­ment oppor­tu­ni­ties through strate­gic mar­ket­ing, pub­lic rela­tions, busi­ness con­sult­ing, and project management.

Emery Eiber is a 2015 State Uni­ver­si­ty of New York (SUNY) Mar­itime grad­u­ate with a Bach­e­lor of Engi­neer­ing in Mechan­i­cal Engi­neer­ing and a USCG 3rd Assis­tant Engi­neers license. He has gained a vari­ety of marine engi­neer­ing and ves­sel oper­a­tions expe­ri­ence dur­ing his work as a 3rd Assis­tant Engi­neer­ing Offi­cer for The Inter­lake Steamship Com­pa­ny and as a Project Engi­neer Intern with Great Lakes Shipyard.

Tom, Kirsten, and Emery each bring their own breadth of indus­try knowl­edge and expe­ri­ence that make them great addi­tions to our com­pa­ny dur­ing this peri­od of change, oppor­tu­ni­ty, and growth. We wel­come them and look for­ward to work­ing togeth­er.
