Scott Cromp­ton joins The Great Lakes Tow­ing Com­pa­ny and Great Lakes Ship­yard as Pur­chas­ing Man­ag­er.  He is look­ing to sup­port and expand an effi­cient sup­ply chain in con­tin­u­ing the sup­port of Port oper­a­tions and the Ship­yard as well as exceed cus­tomer expectations. 

Cromp­ton brings in 30 years of expe­ri­ence in Oper­a­tions (SIOP), Logis­tics and Pur­chas­ing in the man­u­fac­tur­ing indus­try sup­ply­ing the major auto man­u­fac­tur­ers in North Amer­i­ca and Europe, as well as Tier 1 and 2 suppliers. 

With an MBA from West­ern Gov­er­nors Uni­ver­si­ty, Cromp­ton is also Six Sig­ma Trained.
