The LETTIE G. HOWARD is at Great Lakes Ship­yard for a two week dry­dock peri­od under­go­ing some inspec­tions and repairs ahead of its 2021 season.

Cur­rent­ly oper­at­ed by the Flag­ship Nia­gara League, the his­toric ves­sel is a wood­en Fre­do­nia schooner built in 1893 in Essex, Massachusetts.

The Flag­ship Nia­gara League is a non-prof­it whose focus is pre­serv­ing the art of his­tor­i­cal sea­man­ship. The FNL main­tains and oper­ates the US BRIG NIAGARA and the LETTIE G HOWARD out of Erie, PA.
