Miller Boat Line’s Ferry, SOUTH BASS, at Shipyard for Five-Year Inspection

Miller Boat Line’s fer­ry, M/V SOUTH BASS, is under­go­ing its rou­tine five-year dry­dock­ing and USCG inspec­tion at Great Lakes Ship­yard. The ves­sel was hauled out using the Marine Trav­elift.  Con­tract work includes USCG inspec­tion, some minor repair work, and hull repaint­ing.  All work will be com­plet­ed in approx­i­mate­ly two weeks.

This is the sec­ond time Great Lakes Ship­yard has worked on the M/V SOUTH BASS; the first time was in 2013.
